Enrichment

Enrichment is a key part of the Campion experience, helping students develop skills, talents, and character beyond the classroom. We offer a variety of clubs, including music, drama, sports, gaming, and reading, with a termly updated calendar.

All activities are free, mostly open to all year groups and some sessions are led by external specialists to enhance the experience. Regular participation benefits students academically, socially, and emotionally.

We encourage students to commit to their chosen activities for maximum benefit. View and download the latest timetable below.

Electives
At Campion School, we are proud to be a caring, ambitious and inclusive community where every student is encouraged to achieve their very best. Guided by our core values of Ambition, Respect, Integrity and Resilience, we strive to develop confident, compassionate and successful young people who are well prepared for life beyond the classroom.

We have high expectations of every student, believing that excellent behaviour, strong attendance, hard work and kindness are the foundations of success. Our dedicated staff work closely with families to provide the support and challenge students need to flourish academically, socially and personally.

Character development sits at the heart of life at Campion. Alongside our broad and ambitious curriculum, we place great importance on opportunities that allow students to discover new interests, develop their talents and broaden their horizons. Reading is a key part of this, with students encouraged to develop a lifelong love of reading through tutor time, the library and a range of literacy initiatives.

Our Electives Programme is a cornerstone of our enrichment offer. Every Key Stage 3 student has the opportunity to participate in a range of creative, academic and physical activities throughout the year, enabling them to explore new passions, build confidence and develop valuable life skills. With opportunities ranging from sport and performing arts to STEM, wellbeing and the creative arts, there is something for every student to enjoy.

Beyond our Electives Programme, we offer an extensive programme of clubs, educational visits, leadership opportunities and enrichment experiences that encourage students to embrace new challenges and contribute positively to our school community. Participation is celebrated throughout the year, recognising the commitment, enthusiasm and character our students demonstrate.
Trips

We are incredibly proud of the extensive range of enrichment opportunities and experiences available at Campion School. We believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom, and our enrichment programme is designed to inspire curiosity, develop new skills and build confidence. From educational visits, residentials and leadership opportunities to sports, performing arts, clubs, electives and community projects, every student is encouraged to discover new interests, challenge themselves and broaden their horizons. These experiences play a vital role in developing well-rounded, ambitious young people who are equipped with the knowledge, character and resilience to succeed both in school and beyond.
