This afternoon the sun eventually came out warming up cold hands and feet from the morning. The kayakanoers had a great time on the river, however it looks like Mr Brunton was taking it easy. Maybe he was having rest after Mr Akehurst beat him fair and square in a race the climbing tower. On the other side of the wall we had some very brave abseilers and amazing encouragement from the onlookers. On the other side of the park fencing was taking place again in the tent and students were really engaged. We finshed off with dinner mainly consisting of chicken nuggets before the start of the evening disco....

Congratulations to Tuesday’s Character winners. 7Y you’ve made it tough today and we had to give out ten awards. The respect shown today has been off the scale. We’ve seen support for their peers cheering them on, looking after each other when things have got tough and pushing through themselves. What a great relationship you have with each other and it’s magical to witness....

Some have been been lake raft building showing great teamwork and integrity helping each other out. We’ve had our first session of katakanoing, no man overboard but a lot of high jinks and fun in splash wars. We’ve just stopped for lunch and the football is out again, we’re not sure of the actual score due to the never ending offsides....
