With the red alert for hot weather in our area, more young people are spending time around water — from beaches and lakes to rivers and pools. While it can be a great way to keep cool, relax and have fun with friends, it’s important to remember that open water can be unpredictable and even dangerous. Cold water, strong currents, and hidden hazards can all put you at risk if you’re not careful. Taking a moment to think about your safety, knowing your limits, and looking out for others can make all the difference. 🚨 SCHOOL CLOSURE NOTICE 🚨 Due to the exceptionally high temperatures and the current red weather warnings, we have made the difficult decision to close the school tomorrow. While we have made every effort to remain open, classroom temperatures and conditions on school buses have become extremely challenging. The health, safety, and wellbeing of our students and staff must remain our priority. 📚 Learning from Home Teachers will set work on ClassCharts for students to complete at home, following their usual timetable. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Childcare Support If this closure causes significant childcare difficulties, please contact safeguarding@campionschool.org.uk. We will do our best to provide supervision in school where necessary. 🚌 Please note: School bus services will not be running while the school is closed. We will send a further update tomorrow regarding arrangements for Friday. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. — Kim Bradley-Smith, Principal...

What an outstanding day on Saturday for our Stem on track team ‘The Speed Demons’ who took part at the finals at Whilton Mill on Saturday. Team work was key to the achievement of the team after a crash on test day which meant lots of repairs in a short space of time. Despite tough competition we came 6th overall in our round. Well done Speed Demons we are so proud of you all. #proudtobecampion...
