During our Poland trip, students had the opportunity to visit Auschwitz Birkenau, where they reflected on one of history’s darkest chapters. It was a deeply moving and thought provoking experience, providing an opportunity to learn about the devastating impact of the Holocaust and the importance of remembrance. As the saying goes, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” Through learning from history, we help ensure that the lessons of the past are never forgotten. Throughout the trip, the group also visited the Galicia Jewish Museum, where they explored the lost traces of Jewish life and heritage in Poland before and after the Holocaust. The visit highlighted not only the immense loss experienced by Jewish communities but also the importance of preserving their stories and culture. Students were also privileged to hear firsthand from a Holocaust survivor. Listening to such a powerful personal testimony brought history to life in a way that no textbook ever could, reinforcing the importance of standing against hatred, prejudice and discrimination in all its forms....

Today, we were delighted to welcome the SHE Network to Campion School for their inspiring Balancing the Scales workshops. A group of Year 10 students took part in engaging discussions and interactive activities designed to encourage critical thinking, build confidence and explore the qualities of effective leadership. It was fantastic to see so many students sharing their ideas, challenging their perspectives and considering the positive impact they can have as future leaders. A huge thank you to the SHE Network, and especially Andli and Raj, for delivering such an engaging and thought-provoking session. Your passion and expertise have inspired our students to continue developing the confidence, character and resilience they need to thrive in their future careers and beyond. #CampionSchool #FutureLeaders #CharacterEducation...
