Duston and Hunsbury Bus Service – Changes to Route and Timetable
We are continuing to offer a bus service covering the Duston and Hunsbury areas for the
2025/26 school year. The service will still be operated by Country Lion (Northampton) Ltd, however, there have been some changes to the bus services route and timetable, so please check the attached timetables carefully before you make your purchase to ensure you select the correct pass.
Bus Pass purchase options are now as follows:
BUS 1 – Covers the Duston area, excluding St Crispin’s.
BUS 2 – Covers the Hunsbury area and also includes the St Crispin’s area in Duston.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
Bus Pass Costs: Return £935.00 / AM or PM Only £467.50
Bus passes are now sold on an annual basis, rather than a termly basis. We are offering 3 payment options: (1) Pay in full, (2) Pay in 3 instalments, (3) Pay in 9 instalments.
Please make all payments via ParentPay as detailed in the payment schedules below. Passes will be issued on a first come first served basis, as spaces are limited.

To secure a 2025/2026 bus pass please make a payment as soon as possible via ParentPay (please indicate in the notes section the bus stop your child will be using). By making payment for a bus pass you are agreeing to the Terms & Conditions detailed below:
Terms and Conditions:
1. Students should arrive at their boarding point 5/10 minutes before pick up time.
2. Misbehaviour on the bus could result in the pass being removed with no refund given.
3. No part term refunds.
4. Late payments will result in travel being suspended until payments are up to date.
If any payments remain outstanding in respect of a 2024/2025 bus pass, you cannot secure a pass for 2025/2026 until the outstanding balance has been paid in full.
Bus passes will be issued during the first few weeks of the Autumn Term, however providing payment has been made in full or the first instalment has been paid, students can travel without a pass until their pass has been issued.
