Student Leadership Team

Our Sixth Form Leadership Team acts as role models and ambassadors for the school, working closely with senior leaders to make a positive impact across the whole school community.

Student leadership roles provide Sixth Form students with the opportunity to develop valuable leadership, communication and organisational skills while taking on additional responsibilities. Students can apply to become a student leader in Year 12 and will take part in an interview process before selection. The role is an excellent addition to personal statements, CVs and future applications.

This year, our Leadership Team is focused on strengthening our school community through a range of exciting initiatives. One of our key projects is expanding our Reading Mentor programme, where Sixth Form students support younger pupils to develop their confidence, fluency and enjoyment of reading. We are also committed to organising a variety of charity events and fundraising activities throughout the year, giving students the opportunity to support worthwhile causes while bringing the school community together.

Another important focus is raising the profile of Hubdate, our school newsletter. The Leadership Team will work to ensure Hubdate celebrates student achievements, shares important news and highlights the many opportunities available across the school. By encouraging contributions from students and staff, we hope to make Hubdate an engaging and informative publication that showcases the vibrant life of our school.

Through these initiatives, our Sixth Form Leaders will continue to inspire others, support younger students and play a key role in making our school an inclusive, supportive and successful community for everyone.
