Day 13 – Our final day in Kenya 🇰🇪😢 A perfect way to end an unforgettable trip. We started with the Marungu Hills Eco-Trek, learning about local history, conservation, and plants 🌿 At the top students took on bushcraft challenges 🔥 building shelters, making fires, and trying archery in a bit of friendly competition. In the afternoon, we visited the truly inspirational Tumaini Women’s Group. This amazing initiative supports over 500 women in the local community. We were welcomed with singing and dancing (and even joined in 💃🏾), before learning traditional beadwork, making elephant dung paper, and hearing about their powerful community enterprise. We ended with a special farewell campfire 🔥 sharing memories, celebrating students with certificates, and awarding the star student of the trip with the flag award. We also had a lovely surprise celebration for Alex’s birthday 🎂 What an unforgettable experience and the perfect way to end an incredible trip....

And it did not disappoint We were lucky enough to see an incredible range of wildlife including giraffes, elephants, zebras, antelope, dik-diks, gazelles, baboons, waterbuck, eagles, buffalo and even a hippo… and more! 🦒🐃🦓 Truly unforgettable and such a special experience for all of us. In the afternoon, we were honoured to take part in a powerful cultural experience, visiting a traditional Maasai village. We learnt so much about their way of life, explored the village, and were welcomed so warmly. The highlight? Learning their dance moves and dancing together!
