Campion Careers Vision and Values
Campion School Careers Vision and Values
Campion School and Language College - Provider Access Policy
Our careers provision aims to support all students to ‘create brilliant futures’. Our overarching aims are to guide both parents and employers to help them make confident, impartial and informed choices about their future career options. Our approach focuses on providing purpose, direction and opportunities to all our students. Enabling them to flourish as individuals, become highly employable and achieve personal and economic wellbeing throughout their lives.
We fully endorse the Gatsby Benchmarks and use them to guide, plan and monitor the effectiveness of our careers programme which is regularly reviewed and improved. We are fully committed to informing our students of the full range of learning and training pathways on offer to them. We welcome requests from training, apprenticeship and vocational education providers to speak to our students via assemblies or during our annual employability fairs. In addition, we endeavour to organise opportunities to speak with students and parents on a one-to-one basis, supporting students at key transitions points in Year 9, Year 11 and Year 13 to make the right choices to succeed in their future learning and lives.
From September 2021 we have invested in Unifrog. An online, one-stop-shop where all KS3, KS4 and KS5 students can easily explore career pathways, colleges/universities across the world and live apprenticeship opportunities via their mobile devices 24/7. Ensuring each student receives individual, impartial and detailed advice on their next steps beyond Campion School.
